The theater is the venue used by the in-residence Wheelock Family Theatre, a professional company that mounts three productions of family-focused theater annually. But be advised, these performances almost always sell out; if you haven't bought tickets in advance, call ahead to check on availability. Otherwise, the somewhat circuitous route you must drive to get to the Wheelock campus may be for naught.

What's There
Annual productions include a musical, a drama geared to older audiences and a children's production. In addition, the theater offers acting, musical theater, dance, magic and sign language classes for children ages 6 to 16 three times a year. Your best bet is to use the lot at the Sears building (at the intersection of Boylston and Brookline) or the MASCO lot on Longwood Avenue behind Temple Israel.
