This Library is something to behold! When you walk through the doors, you step back in time. This library has everything you could ever want in a library, great selection of books, cds, tapes, etc. But don't just go for that...go to this library for it's atmosphere and ambiance. Spend time at this library just looking at the architecture of the building and browsing the art work. Sit in an overstuffed chair and read a newspaper. Attend one of the many programs offered throughout the year. Have your children visit the children's room, where Miss Eileen will infect them with the love of reading. All the librarians are friendly and helpful, you will feel welcome here. If you are from Connecticut...it's worth the drive from any part of the state. And two very unbelievable features: they are open on Sunday and they have NO fines!
