Our son was enrolled into Circle of Friends in April when we moved to Baker. He began the VPK program with wraparound care in August after turning 4. Now our son is exceptionally bright and way ahead in intellectual development. He just can't turn his brain off. Circle of Friends doesn't seem to have the training or staff to handle students that were outside the normal range. Our son was bored and thus manifested his boredom as acting out. We have no disipline problems with him at home. They were unable to find a solution and with NO NOTICE asked that he not return! Now Baker is a very small town with extremely limited daycare/VPK options. I'm not sure what we will do now. They were very caring to our son, but I DO NOT recommend this facility if your child is not on the same level (intellectually or developmentally) as what the rest of the group is. They just can't handle it.
