The Discovery Museum is aimed to children - but adults who love science will have good time there too. It's a small museum with many 'hands on' activities - which are even better when the kids understand the concepts. It's impossible to compare to the science museum of Boston - but the exhibits are all very nicely displayed and all in good condition. We were 4 adult with 4 kids ages 9 - 13 and all of us had great time!

The Children's discovery Museum is a very entertaining and enriching place to take your children. There are two separate museums that you can visit: children's discovery and the Science museum. They have several rooms set up for different types of interactive play - train room, infant and toddler room. There are lots of hands on exhibits making this a big hit with youngsters. they have lots of programs and events throughout the year. Be sure to check their website if you are planning a visit as they may have some blackout periods due to field trips and upgrades. You can also have your child's birthday party here - a great fun alternative for you kids!Conveniently located off Rt 2 with ample parking.

This a wonderful place to bring your kids! It is housed in an old Victorian house and everyroom is a different theme. They iclude a sensory room for infants and toddlers, Bessie's Diner, Safari room, train room and the USS Discovery. Children are encouraged to explore all the different rooms, hallways and even the closets. A great place for kids to just explore and discover. Check for hours and availablility- they often have school groups in.

This is a nice museum which has been around for awhile. There is always something to do. It is located in Acton, MA. The building in front is full of activities mainly for younger kids. Kids can get dressed up and do other activites. It is small but has so much to offer. The kids just love it there. There is a science building in the back which is geared toward the older kids. There is so much to learn. The kids really enjoy the hands on activities they do. There are alot of employees around to help kids out.
