One of Boston's most famous landmarks also includes an impressive museum.

Set just 200 yards from Old Ironsides, this museum interprets the ship's history through displays of log books, journals, charts, even some of the Constitution's former weaponry. Sundry paintings and decorative arts depict the ship over the years, including several occasions when public outcry saved her from the shipbreakers. Your shipboard tour doesn't venture into the lower decks, but a 10-minute video here does.
