Merwin is by far the best vets my dogs have gone to, far exceed the West Roxbury Animal Hosp. and some vets seen at Angell. These vets are caring, service is excellent and fees are very minimal, not like these outrageous overpriced places mentioned who want over 100.00 for one shot. I am staying with Merwin and my pups love Merwin. sheila Jamaica Plain

This clinic may not be free, but they are very good at what they do and in these lean times charge a small fee for the care they give kudos to the staff. I personally recommend them to everyone I come in contact with and bring my cat there every year.

The Merwin Clinic allows those of us who love our pets and want the best care for them but don't have the finances to pay the high vet costs. We recently took my dog there for her shots and because she was having a particular problem. My dog is normally afraid when we bring her to the vet for any reason, but the vet at the Merwin Clinic was so calm and gentle with her that she relaxed and allowed the exam. The vet took the time to explain in detail what was wrong with our dog, went over the various treatment options and what the possible side effects of the medications were. All of this for the cost of the medication and shots. We got quality pet car at a fraction of the cost! Thank you Merwin Clinic!

They offer free spay and neutering to those customers needing assistance with their dogs and or cats. They also have reduced rates to other specific medical needs that your cat or dog may need but you cannot afford at a regular clinic. this is a great program that helps everyone because it keeps the rate of growing cats and dogs that are unwatned down and also helps the animal.
